After completing apprenticeships in stained-glass technique, Lucie Poirier and Jean-Michel Lopez worked in Montreal workshops for five years.
In 1982, they went to France and founded the workshop "Le Château de Verre" and for two years, they exhibited their work in several cities in France and Switzerland.
Returning to Quebec in 1984, they continued their artistic approach by setting up their studio permanently.
