Lisa et Robert Mc Neil

Ceramic, TMixtes Magog, Canada

have been practicing ceramics together since 1993.

Following a DEC in Ceramics at CEGEP in Old Montreal, Robert continued his training at the Banff Center of Fine Arts in Alberta and was subsequently invited to Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver. Graduating with honors, he then worked with Japanese ceramist Jun Kaneko at Cranbrook University in Michigan and at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts in Omaha. Paper pulp and cement are also part of his repertoire.

During childhood, Lisa was immersed in art and clay through her mother, who was an artist and university ceramics teacher in Regina, Saskatchewan. Lisa studied Fine Arts at Emily Carr College of Art and Design in Vancouver, followed by training and working as a pastry chef for a few years before starting a family. She sculpts and paints, embracing her love of life, nature and miniatures.

Robert and Lisa use their aesthetic sensibilities to celebrate form, color and design through their pieces and sculptures.
