Bronze sculpture on wood and rock •SEE ON GOOGLE MAP WEBSITE
Over the years, Renée Powell has developed a unique way of representing her interpretation of moments in nature. Using the lost wax technique, she combines bronze with rough stone or driftwood. The extension of the bronze on these elements sculpted by nature creates her vision. Her artistic language, pareidolia, the art of seeing forms in abstract naturel elements, allows her to express how all perception is a construction and an exercise in awareness.
“Since 2009, my sculpture technique has evolved. I never cease to be surprised to discover, throughout the creation process, what I manage to achieve with the nobility of bronze “. RPowell
