France Ménard has explored several artistic disciplines ranging from painting to pottery, including photography and interior decoration.

It was in 2012 that she founded the brand “La Fiber en Soi”. With the love of textiles, acquired since her childhood, listening to her instincts, her curiosity and out of concern for the environment, she discovers the natural dyeing and the vegetal impression.

Experimentation with plants picked directly from her garden as well as improvements with experienced dyers from Quebec and the United States, lead her to make unique creations, entirely ecological and sustainable.

It was in 2018 that her partner, Yves De Roy, joined her for more administrative projects and they decided to rename the brand.
