I have been a ceramic artist for the last thirty years. My creative inspiration for all of my decorative and functional pieces comes from architecture, archeology and from my travels.

My pottery is fired using the ancient japanese firing technique called « raku » which is theonly firing process where the pieces are unloaded in their incandescent stage. It is an exciting and erewarding technique producing dramatic effects that darken the clay and create very rich glazes

For the last two years, I have been experimenting with a new firing process in which the pieces are fired at a very high temperature in a gaz kiln. Through this new approach I have been able to explore new forms and colors.
