Research on space and colour

I play with COLOUR in a minimalist way. I am exploring the effects of the colour yellow, a colour that radiates. The reaction of the yellow on different backgrounds of green or red or blue colours causes different sensations. Then I have to find a rhythm, a melody, such is my challenge. Although my paintings are similar in appearance, they are all very different. Sometimes it’s softness that comes out; at other times it is fullness or gaiety. For example, hansa yellow or cadmium yellow applied on a blue background or red background reacts differently. I try to transmit impulses of joy, without any figures, just to make different yellows dance, dark or pale between them.
