She is self-taught. Popular knowledge, traditional crafts, natural fibers and nature are the source of her inspiration. Loom weaving is the basis of her creations. She exclusively weaves linen because it is a fiber with multiple advantages, difficult to work but which has a unique texture and properties. She weaves utilitarian items and pieces of clothing that highlight the beauty of linen.
Her three-dimensional works are built around her inspirations. They are modeled mainly with linen and other natural materials such as wood, slate, recycled bamboo and dried plants. The linen fiber is woven, frayed, braided or twisted. The projects are sketched out over several weeks. She creates by instinct. The work materializes as her inspiration takes hold and sometimes the result is unexpected, surprising. The goal: to give a third dimension to textiles.
