Louise Larouche

Born in Saguenay area in the province of Quebec, its in west provinces of Canada, particularly in British Columbia and Manitoba that Louise Larouche does her own teaching and musical experiences. She got her diplomas from Conservatoire de musique du Québec at Chicoutimi, in flute and from Chicoutimi University of Québec and from Winnipeg University in Manitoba, in pedagogy. After thirty-three years in education, she retired in 2023. Since 1987 Louise Larouche paint in watercolour. She first been formed by Americans and Québécois great master; in 2011 she exhibits at Agora Gallery in New York and display her artwork, the same year, in Spectrum magazine and International her time contemporary artist magazine. She has been participating international exhibitions in 2011, won a silver price in Romania (2012) and participated another one in Bruges, in Belgium (2013). En 2009, she became a member of the prestigious Société Canadienne de l’Aquarelle (Canadian Society of Watercolour). Since then, she devotes her time painting with passion.

Vision’s artist
My works are worked exclusively in watercolor. I thus develop a very personal discourse, which gives me complete freedom. Through the fluidity of the colors and the effects of this medium, each artwork draws from me a deep discourse, an intuition of a moment, an improvisation, which leaves the observer in control of perceiving this
